- Hotchner playwriting competition deadline Jan. 21. All WUSTL students are invited to submit scripts for the 2011 A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Competition. - Women’s basketball falls short in comeback. The No. 5 women’s basketball team hit three 3-pointers with less than a minute to play, but was unable to bounce back from an 11-point deficit in a 73-71 loss at the University of Chicago Jan. 8. The Bears (9-3) will try to return to their winning ways against Emory University at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at the Field House.
